D.A. The future born Derek Anthony was born in Van Nuys California on December 28th 1987. At a young age he was introduced to music by his father who wrote gospel lyrics in a church choir he was give the opportunity to recite these lyrics in front of large audiences and began to become passionate for music ever since. At the tender age of seven he moved across the united states to a small long island town named amityville located in the suburbs of new york city. By the age of 10 he began experimenting with recording from that point on D.A. new that he was going to be a star. At the age of 15 D.A. had solidified his name a sharp m.c. by winning several battles and winning area talent shows effortlessly. His hunger and determination led him to be asked to preform at fashion shows, parties and to open up for artist such as Papoose, Collie Budd and Graph at The Cop Shop located on long island. D.A. has also blazed the mixtape scene as well releasing " The recipe" and "The Manuscript" Selling close to 10,000 copies on each debut.
